The Boulos Company Represents York County Food Hub in Biddeford Industrial Space Lease 

Non-profit To Open the County’s First Regional Food Security Hub at 20 Pomerleau Street 

Portland, ME (September 2026) – The Boulos Company is pleased to announce that the York County Food Hub has leased 7,310± SF of industrial space at 20 Pomerleau Street in Biddeford, ME from Spur Park, LLC. Greg Boulos and Samantha Marinko of The Boulos Company represented the tenant. Joseph Atwood of The Dunham Group represented the landlord. 

The York County Food Hub is a non-profit organization committed to building the county’s first regional food security hub and strengthening the local emergency food system. Its mission is to increase food storage capacity and expand local food rescue to better support York County’s network of food pantries and community meal programs that feed nearly 27,000 food insecure county residents. 

“Rising food insecurity in York County is a crisis that no single pantry or organization can solve alone,” said Alex Gramling, president of the York County Food Hub. “We envision the Hub as a community resource providing sorely needed infrastructure for antihunger programs, while building a more connected and resilient food security network throughout York County.” 

Boulos conducted a broad search for the best location that met the Hub’s needs: loading docks, commercial kitchen space and equipment, open dry storage, and existing cold storage. The Pomerleau Street building offered everything, plus direct access to Interstate 95, a practical advantage for an operation built around moving food to pantries and meal programs spread across the county. 

“Our location and building wish list had four or five must-haves,” added Gramling. “The Biddeford location checked all of the boxes. It was a great find.” 

The Hub opened on September 1, 2026 and, in conjunction with the launch, the organization embarked on a two-year major gift and capacity building campaign called Feed York County, with a goal of raising $3.5 million over two years.
