This month’s selected nonprofit is the Equality Community Center (ECC), chosen by our Broker, Craig Young.

Craig chose this organization because “In a world that seems to be so unnecessarily divisive, I have chosen Equality Community Center as my non-profit to support due to their inclusionary mission statement which states, ‘Every Mainer deserves the right to live their authentic life, free from discrimination, hate, violence or prejudice,’ and the ECC strives to provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive physical space for our community to gather to connect and engage with the organizations working on their behalf. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I am continuously impressed by the good work and messaging of ECC and its Executive Director, Chris O’Connor, throughout the State of Maine year after year. They are good people.”
