City of Portland Acquires 27+ Acres of Conservation Land

Congratulations to the City of Portland on purchasing 27.38 acres at 204 Rand Road from the Avangrid Foundation. Drew Sigfridson, SIOR and Jon Rizzo brokered the sale.

The city will preserve the parcel through the municipal land bank. The parcel is the “largest remaining undeveloped area around the headwaters of the Fore River” and has abundant forests, wetlands, and hiking trails.
