This March, we’re proud to spotlight Winter Kids, an organization working to get young people outside, keep them active, and build a lasting connection to Maine’s iconic winter environment. For those of us who grew up on the slopes orout in the snow, their mission hits close to home.

As our colleague Derek Miller puts it: organizations like WinterKids make sure the next generation experiences the same joy and connection to the outdoors that so many of us in Maine value.
